Life takes it out of you, but aromatherapy puts it back.
Aromatherapy is a natural treatment that uses pure essential oils to create a balance of mind and body. Essential oils are the vital life essences of aromatic plants and flowers in a condensed form and have been used for health and well-being for many centuries.
Through their unique character, fragrance and healing properties the oils can promote stress relief, relaxation, strengthen the immune system, maintain emotional and hormonal balance, rejuvenation, detoxification and much more.
How will you benefit from aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment that aims to treat the whole person not just presenting symptoms. It offers a wide range of highly effective treatments for both acute and chronic stages of illness and disease. The oils have a psychological as well as a physical effect to restore balance and encourage the body's own healing power, thus promoting good health and well-being.
A blend of oils is created to suit your individual needs which can be administered by massage (the most common method), inhalation, compresses or baths.
The benefits of aromatherapy are many and varied and so most people can benefit from a treatment. Some conditions aromatherapy can be effective for include:

What happens during a treatment?
For an aromatherapy massage, the first visit will include an initial consultation to obtain details about your medical history, emotional well-being, general health and lifestyle. This will usually take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and thereafter treatments will last for 60 minutes.
Based on your needs, a unique blend of essential oils will be chosen and mixed with a suitable carrier oil before being applied to the skin. You may also be given advice about home treatments.
